[Store Review] Ensogo Malaysia - Beware!!!

If you see Ensogo advertising something that's fulfilled by them, and not other sellers. Take caution, you may never get your purchases.

This was my experience with them:

I, together with some of my friends bought 4 units of Samsung Note 5 using coupon codes that gave us a discount of RM250 for 3 of the units each. Thus amounting to RM2.1k to RM2.2k per unit.

As usual, we've paid, got our tax invoices and coupons. So after that we waited, since it was pre-order and was going to take 2 weeks (Delivery period: 1st Oct - 6 Oct when we 1st bought them). But guess what? It never came. So I emailed Ensogo for an explanation.

Below are the email exchanges:

Note: Emails are stacked with latest email on top, thus read from bottom to top for better understanding.

Those are the emails for the 1st unit bought.

In between email exchanges, I told them I had another 3 units and a 'ticket' was automatically created without my knowledge and it was dealt by another personnel.

What's worst is that they refunded me those 3 units me straightaway in the 1st email, no notification nothing. Below is the email exchange between the other person and I:

This email was sent to me without my knowledge.

This was my reply.

Obviously I was freakking mad! What kind of service is this?

Note that I said I do not mind a delay in delivery. I demanded an explanation and none was given.

I even told them to take the advertisement down and stop selling it if they can't produce them, but it they didn't take heed. Even until today, they are still selling it!

Note the dates.

The delivery period is still changing!!! What the freakking hell???!!!

Anyway, the only relief is that it looks like they are processing my refunds. But seriously? If I don't complain there wouldn't be any refunds nor news from them. They're take your money and just keeping it only to refund you later. There's no sincerity in even wanting to sell these goods to you! Imagine those that did not complain? How long will they be keeping those monies? Long enough to generate interest?

This is one of four refund emails received.

I am and will still be checking if the amounts have truly be refunded. After all the delays and no explanations other than 'unforeseen circumstances', I seriously have trust issues with this website.

And I have no problems with Mydeal.my and Living Social before this. Those were what they were before they became "Ensogo". Though I heard there was a lot of bad rep too, hence the re-branding. Well nothing good came out of the "re-branding" I guess, it became worse.

***The reason for blogging this whole experience.***

I was going to leave it at that actually and kept this whole issue private. But this happened on Facebook and it really disgusted me. Thus I feel like it's my civic responsibility to ensure consumers are aware of this.

Ensogo deletes comments. Thus you don't see complaints, reviews and bad comments about them. Luckily I've screenshot it all.

Yesterday, with another duped customer.

Today, all gone.

So, this was my experience with Ensogo. MY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Never will I purchase anything from them ever!

I will note too that some people do get their items, but I doubt it was fulfilled by Ensogo. It was most probably fulfilled by stores, a 3rd party maybe, but I am not sure. I will never trust that site again.

Anyway, if you see deals on Ensogo, PROCEED WITH CAUTION. You may never get your goods.

Btw, I found out that they just started selling Iphone 6 and 6s 's too... with the infamous delivery period... dun dun dun!!

Designing your questionnaires with SoGoSurvey

A little unrelated, but here's a simple review of a survey tool
I'm currently using! If you are a student like me, it maybe helpful to you too!

While browsing through the net for simple and easy to use online survey tools, I was faced with a myriad of options. However, as a student, budget can be an issue, hence I was on a lookout for one that's preferably free. I first got onto Google Form as it was the easiest to excess and provides unlimited number of questions and respondents. However the question types were limited and there weren't flexibility in the template. Thus, I was back in the search for a better survey tool.

I came to know about SoGoSurvey through Research Gates. It was highly recommended, and I thought why not? I signed up for the free version, and I was in love with it! The forms are so neat. Various question types were available with flexibility of font, and template design. Not forgetting unlimited amount of questions and respondents! Plus, you can even download your results in different formats such as words, excel and even powerpoint for instant presentation of your data!

What's more, if you are a student, you get to enjoy a free upgrade for a year by just liking their facebook page (Link:https://www.facebook.com/sogosurvey) and writing an article about it like what I'm currently doing.

So, if you are in search for a simple, neat and user-friendly online survey tool, give So Go Survey a try! (Link: http://www.sogosurvey.com/)

[Store Review] Althea.kr Online Store #2 - Discounts and Parcel Tracking

Hello there! Here's an update on my previous Althea.kr Online Store review.

This is a review of my 2nd purchase through Althea.kr, and I'll be sharing with you some of the stuff that I did to get more discounts, and some of the differences I found when tracking my parcel.

Getting Discounts:

During my first purchase, I made the error of not waiting. Being patient can be rewarding. In this case, waiting till the festive season! Signing up for their newsletters is also a good way to get notified of new discounts, campaigns and promo codes.

My second order from Althea.kr

For my second purchase, I did it during the Merdeka month (August 2015), thus getting the top 10 Merdeka products at a discounted price. On top of that, I've subscribed to their newsletter, and was given a Merdeka event promo code that awards you a RM40 discount with purchase of RM200 (promo code shown as ata40 in the picture above).

For that month also, they had a campaign whereby new sign-ups are given RM20 credit to spend. So in total, I've saved RM66 from just discounts, promo codes and free credits!

Although, the new sign-up for free RM20 campaign is over, I saw a new advert saying that if you sign-up now you'd get RM15 credit free! So what are you waiting for? Go sign up! and collect them credits! hahaha

Getting Rebates:

Another way to get discounts is by rebate. It maybe from your credit or debit cards, banks, and even other websites!

For me, I came across milkadeal cashback, and purchased Althea products from there, gaining me an extra 5% rebate which amounted to around RM10 for my second purchase.

Milkadeal Homepage

As you can see, there's not only Althea, but other really popular websites too. So check them out by clicking here.

My Pending Cashback Activity

To show you how it works, this is my cashback activity page. As you can see I have 2 Althea purchases, and one groupon purchase cashback still pending for confirmation. This is the part that might take awhile.

Reason for that is explained in Milkadeal's FAQ page.

Why is my Cashback pending?

When you first receive your cashback in your account, it will be stated as “pending”. It will be confirmed once our partner websites inform us that there will be no further issues with your purchase (no disputes / refunds / cancellations). In the case of holiday, hotel and flight bookings, it will take slightly longer until you have consumed your booking (no amendments / cancellations).

How long will it take? Well it differs from companies to companies because some companies have a 30 days return policy or cancellation whereas some don't. Those that has returns, disputes, refunds, or cancellation policies will take a longer time. That is, after the end of the 30 / 40 days policy.

So, just be patient I guess?

*** TRACKING UPDATE***

Now on to the tracking updates:

There was some difference when I was tracking my parcel this time around, and I'll show you what it is and why not to worry.

e-cargo tracking

So this was what I've gotten when tracking through e-cargo. It says delivery failure, and of course I panicked, because I was home all day, and skynet did not come. At first I thought there was a problem in my address or information. So I contacted Althea, and Daniel, again, very efficiently, gave me a skynet tracking number to track my parcel locally.

Skynet Tracking

So as you can see, on the 3rd of September, where e-cargo shows 'delivery failure'. In SkyNet, it shows departed to HUB, meaning it's on its way from the airport to your local SkyNet hub for processing. It was not sent for delivery to your house. Thus, there was no delivery failure. It just wasn't sent.

I got my parcel on the 4th of September eventho SkyNet tracking shows 'delivered' on the 5th. But it's all good.

So don't worry if you get 'delivery failure' when you track your parcel on e-cargo, sometimes, there's just a little misunderstanding there.

Thanks for reading!

See ya soon!
