First of all, I really do not know anything much about eye shapes.. but I do think I have quite a unique ( a nicer term compared to weird haha..) eye.
I have, what I like to call it, a protruding monolid, like the REAL monolid, tight, firm single lid, and I say this because I know a lot of people who think hooded double lids are monolids. But NO!!! they are NOT, okay! I'm Asian, and most of my friends have double lids, but they are just hidden (hooded) beneath the outer lid. And those are the kinds that you can, fortunately, stick on double-eyelid tapes to lift up the outer lids, making the double lids more prominent.
So anyway, this is my eye.

As you can see my monolids are seriously, mono. They are super tight, firm, no extra skin for you to pull to make double-lids, I've tried single sided double-lid tapes and they are totally useless. As for double sided double-lid tapes, yeah they can make miserable double-lid lines, but it;s also a permanent eye-opener (pun intended haha). I can't close my freakkin eyes! So Irritating!! Anyw, I gave up on trying to get double eyelids, and just embrace my monolids. But, I got to say, that luckily, even with monolids, my eyes ain't that small, thank God! haha..
So what I found out about monolids makeup online is... nothing. Practically nothing. I mean, unless my google searching skill really sucks, I can't find a decent monolid makeup that looks pretty and doesn't make you look extra slit-eyed, or gives you that mata sepet looking eyes. Moreover, most pretty monolid tutorials are on double lids gurus (with hooded lids)! I mean, that's cheating!!! haha.. So, I decided to experiment on my eyes instead.
